| BIDDERS.
Bidding is open to anyone interested in purchasing items. Membership
in one of the presenting organizations is not a requirement for
participation.
AUCTION
ITEMS.
Items offered for bid in the Silent Auction by donating companies
are the items that will be shipped to the winning bidder.
- The Environmental
Institute for Golf makes every attempt to accurately represent
the items available for bid. Bidders and/or donating companies
may not request that items be replaced or exchanged once bidding
has opened.
- The Environmental
Institute for Golf reserves the right to remove items from the
Silent Auction without notice.
BIDS.
Each auction item will be assigned a minimum opening bid. To place
a bid, you must use the predetermined incremental amounts. Bids
not following this formula will not be accepted.

OPENS.

CLOSING
TIMES.
The closing time tells when the listing will end. There are two different closing times.
The
closing time for each item is listed on each auction detail page.
It is located next to the fields Time Left (countdown
to ending time) and Ends (auction closing date
and time).

The closing date is also included next to each item within each category.
BIDS
ARE BINDING.
Your
bid constitutes a contract to purchase the item on which it was
placed. All winning bids are final. Please read all product specifications
and limitations carefully prior to making a bid. No refunds will
be issued. Winning bidders are expected to make payment on their
bid following notification of winning bid and upon receipt of the
invoice issued by The Environmental Institute for Golf.
PAYMENT.
Notification and invoice will be sent from The Environmental Institute for Golf to
winning bidders after the Golf Industry
Show. Payment is due within 30 days of receipt. Once payment has
been received, an acknowledgment will be sent to the winning bidder
and notification will be sent to the donating company for release
of the item.
Bidders failing
to follow through on a winning bid in the Silent Auction after the
initial invoice and notification will be contacted by The Environmental
Institute for Golf to schedule payment for items purchased. If bidders
continue to fail to complete the transaction, bidding privileges
for all future online and on-site auction programs conducted by
The Institute may be revoked. The GCSAA President will notify bidders
whose privileges have been revoked in writing. When a winning bidder
fails to make payment and bidding privileges are revoked, the bidder
with the next highest bid amount will be contacted by The Institute
to purchase the donated product.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES.
Party responsible
for the shipping and handling charges varies per item and is specified on each auction
detail page under Shipping Costs. If items are damaged in the process
of shipping to the winning bidder, he/she should contact The Institute,
who will assist in resolving the issue with the donating company.
